It’s here, it’s really here....
graduation day....
its time to say good-bye to the ones we love,
to the ones who made the journey with,
and
for those who didn't make it we say till we meet again?
Graduation day
we say our last good-bye
we say good-bye to our childhood.
because as we walk down that stage we become one, we leave the chillness in us behind and become adults.
As we say good-bye
some will laugh,
some may cry,
others may leave, to never look back,
because this is it,
there will be no turning back,
this isn't a game playing pretend.
with all those times we have spent together,
all the years,
all the laughs,
all the moments,
and the tears,
I never thought I'd be saying my last good-bye to all my friends...
those friends I never thought I'd be friends with...
we went all this time,
all these years,
we've been through so much,
that I cannot imagine saying good-bye to friends like you,
this graduation day we will forget the fights,
the mean words we once said and the swears we never meant..
its time to remember the dreams that never came and remember that you are your own dream....
its time to forget what never was and what was real,
as we walk down the hall,
remembering
the classes,
the lunchroom,
the teachers,
the friends who have passed on....(Patrick Young R.I.P.)
as we go on always remember all the good time,
and as our lives go on always now we'll be friends forever
